The Springfield Parent Academy (SPA) is an initiative of the Springfield Public Schools ‘ Parent and Community Engagement team and is a partnership of community agencies, businesses, schools and faith-based organizations working together to provide FREE learning opportunities for parents and other caring adults. With over 30 community partners and 50+ course offerings, the Springfield Parent Academy has grown a great deal over our first five years. Within the 2014-15 school year, we had 775 Springfield parents attend courses. This was over a hundred percent increase in course attendance from 2013-14! Our mission is to get to 2,020 course attendees by the year 2020! With a great team, engaged partners and involved parents, we know we can get there!
